Shelly

This is a picture of Shelly in her new apartment. I’m trying to simulate the effect of an aging color photograph, which tends to lose contrast and turn bluish.

Not sure if I like the digital editing or not. I do, however, love the boots.

  1. Hey guys,
I dunno if I like the dramatic tension caused by the old-tyme effects contrasted with the very modern motif. It doesn’t work for me. But…what I do see is a rubenesque figured women and the effect to show it off…YES!
I see a barnyard…nay..a HAY loft with Ms. Shelly doing something nasty that her great great great grandmother would’ve done when she was young and horny in the hay loft with tools of the times…how very fascinating to picture Shelly in a BDSM pose using 1870 style props (e.g an apple for a gag…horse leather for restraints, etc..)and clothing with the same color weathered effect. Or 1948, 1865, 1955, etc…
Ummm the boots…I dunno, but DAMN that is one clean range hood!

Nice work both of you… 🙂

    • Lain

I first saw Lain a couple years ago at a friends on their big huge screen. Lain, to me, is the living embodiment of a software patch. She’s a lot like everyone around her but her purpose is to seal a breach between realities, essentially merging into the gap and losing her self/identity in the process.

I have a poster of her in the apartment here as DJ Lain working two turntables and a microphone, looking like she’s playing something down-tempo/chill-out-ish.

Mikado Laser Japan in SF’s Japantown has the original soundtrack and a couple derivative ones as well as most of the albums by Boa, the group that originally did “Duvet”. You should be able to pick it up locally to you if you have an anime’ stockist nearby(Or we can make a run when you get out here for MacWorld. It’s easily bussable from Moscone).
Be prepared to pay import prices wherever you go though.
