It’s all about perception, not about reality

Observation: The Air Force operates a highly secure facility in Groom Lake, Nevada, known as “Area 51.”
Observation: Area 51 is used to test supersecret experimental aircraft and prototypes of new figher and reconaissance planes.
Observation: There are things in the sky over Area 51 that I can’t identify.

Conclusion: They must be extraterrestrial space aliens.

  1. Having seen some of those things in the sky around area 51, I can understand why some people might think there are alien spaceships.

I was once in the car with four other highly respected people who have skeptical minds and when we saw the wierd green lights rising over the hill….it was hard to not believe in alien spaceships.

Observation: Franklin implies that the conclusion of extraterrestrial space aliens is ridiculous.
Observation: Franklin must have a motive for doing so.

Corrolary: He’s probably got a ray gun and antennae too.
