Good news, bad news kind of day

The bad news

It looks like I’m going to have to make a trip to New York City for one of my clients shortly. I’ll be installing high-end prepress software and training on its use. Most likely, I’ll be in NYC for about three days or so.

The good news

I quoted my client a thousand dollars a day for the job.

Anyone know anything intersting to do in NYC?

  1. lucky!!! I LOVE NYC! umm, i’m not sure if you are into clubs or bars or anything, but there is lots to do. I’m perfectly content just walking around aimlessly there. you should definately go shopping in Chinatown.

    • clubs are a bit more my speed than shopping, I think. I’ve been told that NYc has a very active club scene, though I can quite imagine that it’d be easier toexplore it with a local tour guide.

  4. Interesting thing to do in NYC is have lunch with me if you’re there anytime from 4/19-4/22, which is when I’m there to visit my mom.

Check out ny.com for whatever. Go to Tavern on the Green on West 65th Central Park West for brunch on Sunday (gorgeous, but it’s expensive) or especially at night (http://tavern-on-the-green.visit-new-york-city.com/); check out Club Limelight on 21st street for dancing (http://www.nightclubvip.net/events.asp); Must go to the Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park (http://www.metmuseum.org/collections/department.asp?dep=7)(get a taxi to take you, don’t try to find it by underground).
