My company is run out of an office in downtown Tampa. It;s owned by my biggest client; they give me the space free in exchange for lower rates on prepress work. Works great for both of us.
Hey, at least you have a job. Still most of the people I know are unemployed. Of those that aren’t, a frightening number are working shit jobs just to stay afloat. I’ve been seriously considering retail and we have been looking at jobs not just in other states, but other countries.

The nice thing about working for yourself–you always have a job. You can lose clients, but you can’t lose your job. 🙂
