The full, unedited text of an email in my inbox today:

Prezados Gentlemen.

Good night will be that they had not tired to send email the same every day and various times still? Therefore I will go to order them all in return for the Gentlemen if not to stop. They want to order notice, all good, but the same email some times per day “NOT”. E nor orders email in MIME. Until more. Thank You

No file attachments, it’s not a virus that uses a random text generator…

  1. It looks like something that might have been written in another language and possibly translated by an automated translater program. Very weird, though.

    • Yeah, I was kinda thinking it had that “not a native English speaker” feel to it, too. Pity it’s completely unintelligible; I’m really curious about what this person was trying to say.

  3. Jeez.. do I have to hit you with a clue by four? This is obviously a letter from a secret admirer. Sheesh you can be so dense when folks have a crush on you.. No wonder you never get laid!

    Keep in mind that the only experience I have with this is from being tech support for our non-English speaking customers in South America…

    This looks like someone responding to a direct marketing email and saying that they can’t read MIME encoded mail and don;t want to get email several times a day. Basically, “Take me off your mailing list.” That’s about as close as I can get.

    Maybe someone has copped your email addy to SPAM South America…
