Several of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books I haven’t read yet (including Hogfather and Mort, two that have been highly recommended to me), a handful of Iain M. Banks’ “Culture” novels, including Use of Weapons, which I don’t own a copy of; and a novel called Altered Carbon, a transhumanist murder mystery by Richard K. Morgan. The last one I found completely by accident in the Amazon “recommended reading” list, and it seemed interesting, so I thought I’d give it a shot.
Most of the books on my bookshelf are nonfiction, so this order is a bit unusual in that it’s entirely fiction.
And, if you’re into sex, there’s really interesting research about Sociobiology concepts applied to human sexuality. But, I haven’t found any good, single book for lay readers yet. Hmm.

Did you read Sean Carrol’s book, Endless Forms Most Beautiful? It’s one I use to teach about evolution.
I haven’t! My favorite book on evolutionary biology is Richard Dawkins’ amazing The Blind Watchmaker. I’ll have to check it out!

“I lust realized…”
Is that supposed to be a pun? Are you buying porn over there at amazon?
Argh! Curse spell checkers that can’t grok context!
