Microsoft, in their ongoing efforts to make computers and computer-related products easier to use, has an Official Windows Vista Help Page explaining how to open the box that Windows Vista comes in.
If they need a Web page explaining how to open the box, the cynic in me suggests that they’re still a little fuzzy on this whole idea of “user-friendly”…

it’s unfortunate that many people call the help desk and ask how to open the package. having opened a few of those packages, i can tell you that it’s a remarkably simple procedure. sadly, there are a remarkable number of simple people in the world.

Sorta like on the airlines where they have the instructions written on the safety guide to say if you don’t understand the instructions, ask to be reseated 🙂
