Got my plane tickets, got my hotel reservation, I’m headin’ to MacWorld San Francisco in January! Neener neener!
Heading out a few days early; going to spend a couple extra days running around SF doing some photography. I’ll be meeting my girlfriend out there as well; it should be a lot of fun, seeing the new crop of Macs and eating in Japantown.
Saw Training Day this evening. Kick-ass movie–the kind that really sticks with you.
SF! Yay! Have a great time while you’re here, man.

Thanks! I’m really looking forward to it. Got a hotel near Moscone Convention Center, and I’m looking forward to running around with my camera. SF is a fascinating city.
So, got any advice for a convention-bound tourist boy?
Well, your hotel is in a great spot, and there’s always SO much to do around here. Explore as much of SF as you can (and not just the tourist spots, although those are quite nice). I carry my digital cam around everywhere with me, and you can see in my journal how gorgeous SF can be. Have a blast. Exploit this place, and exploit it good! =]
Well, lessee. Last couple of times I was there, I did all the normal stuff: the Presidio, Fort Point, Japantown. So what am I missing?
The Castro, the Haight, Northbeach, SOMA, the Metreon and Yerba Buena Gardens, Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach and China Beach, and everything in between! Seriously, walk like every street, and you’ll find something else new and totally amazing here. I adore this place!

So, you volunteering to be the local tour guide, then? 🙂
Perhaps, perhaps. When is it that you’ll be here again?
Getting into SF on January 5 (Saturday) at about 7:30 in the evening; leaving on the morning of the 12th. The convention runs the 7th through the 11th. So if oyu want to play tour guide to the Tampa tourist at some point in there, I won’t complain. 🙂
Ah, so we got a while. Hopefully I won’t be as busy then. We’ll see. I love showing people around this place, though – it’s great to see them marvel. =]
