So apparently…

…the preceding post on “how to make a rope harness” ended up linked to on reddit.com yesterday, which caused a pretty sharp spike in the number of people reading the entry. As a result, the images were slow to load for a couple hours yesterday afternoon.

Wow. First time I made Reddit. Does that mean I’m officially a net.celebrity now?

  1. wierd … I’m not quite sure how I feel about appearing in naked pictures on a webpage got listed in a bookmarking site in less than a week after being posted.

      • Thanks, but no, when I agreed to sit for these photos, it was with the explicit understanding of what they were for and with the knowledge of his website, his intended use, and his website visitor count, including the massive spikes in visitation he routinely receives. He also received full permission before the shoot for everything he has done with the pictures so far (including using my online name) and everything he intends to do with them. This is just my insecurity talking, that I am intentionally poking at by agreeing to do this.

    • Joreth,

I’ve been a big fan of Holly Hunter, ever since “Raizing Arizona”. In 1993 she made “The Piano” in which she appeared topless. She looked very nice topless, but I wasn’t goggle eyed over it.(Well, maybe a little. I’m a borderline dirty old man.) What I felt was gratitude. She shared something with the world that had to spring from a kind of generosity that overcame shyness and vulnerability. (Yeah, I know she got paid. A lot. But still.)

I’m greatful to you for overcoming shyness and vulnerability to be the model for this tutorial. Thank you.

      • Thank you. For those of us who have shyness or other issues about public nudity, a lot of money might help someone choose to challenge those issues, but it certainly doesn’t make them go away when we do it. But it is nice to hear sincere appreciation.
