So little to do, and so much time!

No, wait, scratch that, reverse it.

The party is now officially only five days away, and I’m still not ready. The robot gun emplacements are not finished yet, I haven’t even started on the biometric sensors, the cake still needs to be made, I have to find better speakers for the music system, I can’t find the power supply for the gene sequencer anywhere, the nanoassembly tank isn’t even close to being finished, and I don’t have a blasted thing to wear.

Aaaaarrrggghhhh! Planning a birthday party is a lot of work.

I think I can get the robot guns installed this evening, and the power supply’s got to be in the closet somewhere, but there’s still a lot to do.

    • I know, it sucks.

You all need to move out here, or we need to move out there, or something. It’s totally not cool that someone so cool lives all the way across the continent.

      Grrr.

  1. What kind of cake do you want? If it’s nothing too frightening, I could probably make it. If you want a 10 foot tall robot cake, that’s out of my league, but anything within reason I could probably do since I have off the two days before the party.

    • I am working the 2 days before the party, so it would be great if you’d like to help.. it may actually need to be made the same day, because I don’t know where it would be stored. I want to do a white cake dyed gray with some kind of rasberry filling and white frosting. Ideas?

      • What about cupcakes? It’s a lot easier to make a lot of cupcakes than a huge cake, and it sounds like there might be quite a turnout. 🙂 I could easily do gray cupcakes with white icing. Silver foil wrappers would look cool. What about edible glitter on the top? I could easily bake on Friday and just keep the cupcakes Chez Apartment until Saturday.

  5. Happy Postmodern Birtday to You!

Wish I could be there – sounds like a blast! I look forward the “Evil Genius Overthrows Government!” “Anarchy Ensues!” “Supreme Court: All Gerbils Must Wear Pants!” headlines the morning after.

Unfortunately we have a school thang that evening that we’re already committed to. :-/

Just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday, old friend.

    Birthday Kisses,
    Suzie
