In general, Slash fiction is pretty terrible, but some of it is decent. I can’t call it “cool,” though.

Cool sucking
So much of it, for me, is “If it works for them.” This means that my ‘meh’ reactions became “Cool”. I think a “Don’t Care” option would be good…

But don’t you see? The truth is always absolute, that’s what makes it true! Forget this wishy-washy stuff; everything in the world is either cool or it sucks, and since we’re searching for the one true Truth here, we have to make a stand! 🙂

People who do not think Pee-wee Herman is cool have obviously not seen his HBO special or David Letterman Appearances. That or it’s a badly formed question in the sense that he’s not “cool” like the Fonz, but rather darkly subversively geeky and so people had an instinctive reaction to not vote “cool” for him?

What suprises me the most…other than the sheer irrelevance of all these topics…is the sheer amount of responses to them! Funny what people will do for the sake of expressing their opinion. (But then…that’s why we’re ON LJ, isn’t it?)
Irrelevant? My dear sir, each of these things has been carefully selected as an exemplar of some facet of Universal Truth. How can we know the Truth if we don’t know if the butter-flavored topping in movie theatres is cool?
