A lot of folks who read this blog know that I’ve been on-again, off-again working on a book on polyamory.
The project is back on again. A few weeks ago, when i was in the Wildlands of Canadia visiting my sweetie Eve Rickert, the two of us sat down to brainstorm ideas for the book and to try to pick out themes. I’ve written an outline and a sample chapter already, but Eve pointed out that it might be valuable to go back and revisit the idea by working out the topics we’d like to see included without referencing the original outline, to see if there’s anything important that got overlooked on the first go ’round.
So we got some markers and closed ourselves up in a room with a whiteboard for a while, and…
I keep hearing that polyamory is complicated. i have no idea what people mean by that. 🙂
We briefly discussed online langdon-charts / people-graphs whilst you were up here, would you be interested in taking that further as well?
Yes, definitely!
I’ve also heard of those getting called “polycules”, by analogy with the ball-and-stick models of molecules.
I’ve heard a great variety of names for them yes. I’ve got mine constructed with graphviz, spanning ~6 years of relationships. Would you be interested in a online site to help people build/track theirs?
FYI, you probably know, but the nameservers in your domain registration seem somewhat broken, antenora doesn’t respond at all, and judecca has no SOA for your domain.
Thanks for the heads up, I’ll let the the guy who runs them know.
I wouldn’t be interested in a site to help build polyecules/langdon graphs/etc.
