Take a picture of yourself right now. Don’t change your clothes, don’t fix your hair…just take a picture. Post that picture with NO editing. (Except maybe to get the image size down to something reasonable.)
Post these instructions with your picture.
Well, okay. The result is a little scary, though. Plus I’m still at the office.
I am, thankfully, mere moments away from leaving.
ooo
shiny!!!

You look far too normal in that picture 🙂
Hmm. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Im fairly regularly amused walking around campus looking at “normal” looking people. I always smile, and think “you have no idea what I did this weekend, and I think even a hint would send you screaming.”
It doesnt help that “Fist Me this Christmas” is on my shuffle and almost always plays while I am at school.
So, its neither a good thing or a bad thing, but rather a “heh, us perverts fool everyone :-)”

awww- you look sleepy & that was without looking at the mood icon 😀 🙂
Too much work, too little sleep!

You look very, very normal. No one would suspect that you’re a pervert! 🙂
Y’know, I’m not quite sure how to take that…
Heh, I thought something similar. “Man, he can really pass for vanilla, can’t he?”
Of course, these days, so can I.

You look, disturbingly, like a guy I used to go to SF cons with. Except he’s 27 right now.

Oooh, is that an Apple Cinema Display? It looks huge. I love huge monitors. 🙂
It is! I absolutely love it. It’s connected to a Mac Pro system. The black monitor barely visible over my shoulder is connected to the same system. i run Parallels with Windows, Ubuntu, and Fedora Core on it, and usually keep the Windows or Linux virtual machine running on the smaller monitor.
Drooling
I’m sooo jealous. My 17″ G5 iMac is tiny by comnparison. I want to get a new Mac with an Intel processor (mostly so I play Madden Footbal LOL) but I keep telling myself I don’t really need it (which is true, but you know, it sure would be nice to have a new, bigger screen and stuff).
I’m tempted to compromise and buy a new Mac Mini. I could hook it up to 19″ Sony flat CRT that’s been sitting in my closet for three years. That way I could get the new processor, OS upgrade, etc. for half the price of a new iMac. Any thoughts on that?
Re: Drooling
The Minis are sweet little machines if you need an Intel processor. The weak link in the Mini is the integrated graphics, which really isn’t up to snuff for demanding games. And, unfortunately, there ain’t no way to upgrade the graphics hardware that comes with it.
Re: Drooling
As a general rule, I’m not a big gamer. The games I do like aren’t that demanding graphics-wise, either. I’m not hooked on the shooters and flight simulators. Leave those to the teenagers. I am more of a simulation/strategy gamer. I like stuff like Roller Coaster Tycoon and Age of Empires. Oh, I should also mention that I usually find and fall in love with a game a good two years after everyone else has dismissed it as “old and boring.”
But I do want to get Madden Football. I’ve played it at the arcade a few times, and it’s awesome. I don’t really want to buy a $300 game console just to play one game, though. So I was pretty excited when I saw Madden available for Macs after all these years. Then, my excitement disappeared when I read it would only on the newer Intel-based Macs.
Question now, is whether weaker graphics card on the Mini will be a problem with this game, which uses a lot of 3D graphics and needs to run at a decent speed, which the games I’ve play up until now did not.
Re: Drooling
<3 Mac Mini. I have two now - one of which is Intel. I never owned a full-size Mac, so I can't compare, but they still blow the doors off any Windows box I've ever owned, and yet are engagingly economical.

Oh so that’s what you look like!
XD I’m ashamed to say I don’t own a digital camera, or I’d totally do this meme.
It’s approximately what I look like, when I’m sleepy and all. 🙂
Mm, sleepiness does change one’s looks somewhat.

You look very tired there. Although I’m sure I don’t look much better at the moment.
