Cut to save your bandwidth.

It’s dayo! I love the mask.

joreth in a very sexy corset dress.

It’s Shelly!
In the new Sparta, the computer wants you to be happy. Not being happy is treason. Are you happy, citizen?

Spider-Man’s droogs chillin’ before an evening of ultra-violence.
I didn’t get the picture I wanted of her. She was completely surrounded by people, and at one point there were three guys all lined up in a row with their cell phone cameras out. That would’ve been an awesome shot.

Can’t sleep. Clowns will eat me.

I think datan0de had a panel dedicated to me!

This Little Red Riding Hood kicks some serious ass. I guess the Big Bad Wolf didn’t know she used to be an operative in the Israeli Secret Service.

A warlock in full Arena Season 3 Arena Season 2 PVP gear! How cool is that? (Apparently, too cool for me to identify the armor correctly, and I have a PVP ‘lock.)

Robot Chicken…

…and a steampunk R2D2.

Random person. I dig the dress.

Me, joreth, and zen-shooter. Picture is to scale.

Zombie Star Wars characters, and what may be a first at DragonCon:
a zombie Slave Leia.

Best pic I could find of me and cunningminx at our panel. We’re not this serious, I swear.

The wings were articulated, too.

From any angle, the Mariott in downtown Atlanta is one of the most beautiful buildings you will ever see.

dayo and I. She’s the cute one.

Done the duct tape bra thing – nipples were fine, and it didn’t hurt coming off, but I ended up all rashy from the adhesive. Worth it for the effect, but definitely not something I’d wanna do often.

I had the same thought regarding the duct tape. She’s certainly decorative enough, but OWWWW!

I once used those adhesive “bra” alternatives that are designed to be glued around the bottom and front of the each breast to hold the girls in place and not show nipple for a sexy yet tasteful dress for an event. Removal was not a great time to discover that I had somehow developed an adhesive sensitivity. The rash cleared in a couple of days.

  5. i have not done the duct tape thing but…

when you are dealing with sticky residue, you want Goo Gone. It’s made from oranges, so it smells good and is not harmful on skin. And it really works. I’ve used it on book covers and CD and DVD cases to clean them up for gift giving. Nasty store stickers… 🙂

    Happy sticking!

  7. The random person in red is Elektra. Elektra is a Greek ninja assassin who wields two bladed sai as her trademark weapon. I would have done that costume myself if it wasn’t already such a popular costume (I don’t do costumes that everyone else has done before me – the Leia thing wasn’t popular when I first started and I’m still the only one with a real copper bikini).

    • Con is one of those things that’s awesome in the beginning, but by halfway through your feet hurt and you’re perpetually sleep-deprived and cranky. Then, by the end, you can’t wait to do it all again.

      • Unless you’re one of those really wierd people who actually goes to bed at a reasonable time with respect to when one plans to wake up 😉 then not so sleep-deprived or cranky

Probably much the same as using bandaids to prevent nipple-pokage in sheer dresses – one just has to use a bandaid where the more sensitive bits are all covered by padding, not sticky.

  10. I WANT ‘s corset. And the flogger she’s holding. Er… *blushes furiously*
Duct tape girl is super cute, but I don’t even want to think about the removal process for that outfit! Clown guy is scary. Red Riding Hood girl is awesome.
    Thanks for the pictures!

As it turns out, there’s an easy way to get duct tape off of skin. Stand in the shower, and it’ll come right off. 🙂

    Err…or so I’ve heard. Yeah, that’s it. I’ve heard. From…somebody.

  14. Re: Know your WoW

It’s ok…there are lots of things I don’t know, nor care to know, about in the game. I still enjoy the hell out of it though and have my own WoW Encyclopedia folks to go to when I need answers.
